Milky Way and Southern Cross
Just for fun while wandering the beach waiting for day break. Beautiful night sky.
This is a composite of 6 images stacked. I've never done this before and the source images were shot very much from the hip, with the result that the images were a bit fuzzy. Not to mention the light leaking into the lower left of the frame as night gives way to day.
I'll give it another go one of these days -- very interesting experiment.
